Council for the Town of Shelburne appointed Sarah Mattatall as the Chief Administration Officer at a Special Council meeting held on August 24th.
Sarah begins her duties as the CAO on September 5th.
Over the past nine years she has filled a range of roles as the Manager of Human Resources and Administration, including facilities management, human resources management, procurement and insurance for the Town of Shelburne.
Prior to her career with the Town, she worked in the insurance industry for seven years, after obtaining a BBA from Mount Saint Vincent University.
As a community volunteer, Sarah has served with non-profit organizations including the United Way and the Aids Coalition of Nova Scotia.
“I am delighted to accept the position of CAO with the Town of Shelburne. After several years of working alongside hard working and dedicated staff members, I am humbled to continue this journey with them in the new position, supporting a devoted Council and fellow Town residents.”
