African Nova Scotian Scholarships
Four $2,500 awards to African Nova Scotian students entering any year of a full-time post-secondary education program in the areas of Power Engineering, Power Line Technician, Instrumentation Tech, Engineering, Technology, Business, Marketing: Communications, Environmental Sciences or Law.
Emerging Leader Scholarships
$2,500 awards to students entering any year of a full-time post-secondary education program in the areas of Power Engineering, Power Line Technician, Instrumentation Tech, Engineering, Technology, Business, Marketing & Communications, Environmental Sciences or Law.
Mi'kmaq Bursaries
Four $1000 awards are available to Mi'kmaw students entering any year of a full-time post-secondary education program.
Nova Scotia Power Family Scholarships
Ten $1,000 awards to children/dependents of employees or retirees of Nova Scotia Power. These awards are available to students entering any year of a full-time post-secondary education program.
Women In Trades, Engineering, & Technology Scholarships
Six $2,500 awards to students who identify as a female entering any year of a full-time post-secondary education program in Trades or in the areas of Engineering and Technology.
The Chris Huskilson Emera Scholarship
One $40,000 scholarship ($10,000 per year for four years) award to an Atlantic Canadian student attending an Atlantic Canadian university for studies in the related areas of science (natural), technology, engineering, entrepreneurship or math.
Recipients may also have the opportunity to participate in a 12-week paid internship at Nova Scotia Power or Emera during their term of study.
