Town of Shelburne – Water Voucher InformationStarting Monday October 27, 2025, residents who are experiencing dry wells can receive water vouchers to exchange for bottled water at Sobeys (King Street, Shelburne).
Where to Pick Up Coupons: Town of Shelburne Office, 162 Mowatt Street, Shelburne

Office Hours: Monday to Friday – 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Program Details:
4L of bottled water per person per day Maximum: four 4L jugs per household per day Eligibility: For residents within the Town of Shelburne who have reported a dry wellNew coupons can be picked up weekly, and each coupon can be exchanged for one 4L jug of water (no substitutes).

Sidewalk Repair - Falls Lane Area

The Town of Shelburne wishes to advise the public that sidewalk repair and improvement work in the Falls Lane area will be starting on Monday, October 27, 2025 for approximately 1 week. Weather permitting.
Please expect temporary delays and minor disruptions to pedestrian and vehicle traffic while crews complete this important work. Signage and barriers will be in place to ensure safety.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to improve our community's infrastructure.

Colleen MacInnis, a dedicated pharmacist from Shelburne, Nova Scotia, is once again answering the call to serve with the Canada-Africa Community Health Alliance (CACHA) on their fall 2025 medical mission to Ukerewe Island, Tanzania.
For over 15 years, CACHA has worked alongside local teams to deliver compassionate, sustainable care, providing primary health services, health education, HIV and malaria testing, eye exams, dental care, and access to essential medications.
Colleen’s passion for global health and community service continues to inspire us all. 
She believes that health is a human right, and that true change comes through partnership, respect, and trust.
