The Town has developed a 3.5 km section of the abandoned rail line in Town as a trail. This section of the trail is also a part of the Trans Canada Trail which has provided generous grants to the Town to allow for spring and fall cleanup.
Please note that ATV use and horseback riding are not permitted on the trail system through the Town of Shelburne.
This section of trail links with a section managed by the Municipality of Shelburne that runs from the Roseway River to the Islands Provincial Park
