We'd like to take a moment to recognize two members of Council whose dedication and service to the Town of Shelburne deserve special acknowledgement.
Twenty years of municipal service is a significant milestone. Over those two decades, Deputy Mayor Acker has shown unwavering commitment, leadership, and a deep care for this community. Her experience, thoughtful approach, and steady presence around the table have helped guide countless discussions and decisions that have shaped our town. Her dedication to the residents of Shelburne and her willingness to serve, often behind the scenes has not gone unnoticed. On behalf of Council and the Town of Shelburne, thank you for your many years of hard work and service.
We would also like to recognize Councillor Sheldon Ringer for 10 years of service to the Town of Shelburne.
Ten years of service reflects a strong commitment to public service and to the people of this community. Councillor Ringer has consistently brought dedication, perspective, and a genuine concern for residents to his role on Council. His contributions over the past decade have helped move the Town forward, and we are grateful for the time and energy he has given in service to Shelburne.
To both Deputy Mayor Acker and Councillor Ringer: thank you for your commitment, your hard work, and your continued dedication to the Town of Shelburne and its residents. Council and the community are fortunate to benefit from your service.
Please join us in congratulating them on these important milestones.
Happy Holidays!!
